Are you fighting a losing battle trying to get motivated to lose
weight? Many people won't achieve their weight loss goals because they
can't figure out how to get themselves motivated enough to stick to
their resolutions.
You probably already know many tips on how to get motivated but
harnessing your will power and keeping motivation high is a different
story.
Just start! The hardest part is starting. Can you walk 5 minutes a
day? DO THAT! Just get moving. Pretty soon you'll find that you can add
more time & find more ways to add in more calorie burning activities
to your day.
Set yourself up for success. Instead of relying solely on will
power, create an envoronment that works for you instead of against you.
Find some healthy buddies to hang out with. Clear your cupboards with
healthy treats. Place inspiring quotes where you can see them. Take time
to reflect on how you are feeling and where you are at. Hire a coach to
keep you accountable!
Making small, achievable goals help to keep you motivated and stay
on track. If you are an "all or nothing" person, breaking your goal down
into "baby steps" to get you to where you want to be could be the right
answer. Are you willing to try this if the way you've been doing things
isn't really working?
A good way to get started is to take one or
two things you want to change and focus on that for a month. Once that
becomes a habit, add a couple of more the following month. After just a
few rounds, you'll notice major improvements in your health & well
being.
Doesn't this sound like something you could do?
If your answer is yes, I've got something special for you. I have a
30-day challenge starting on January 6th. Please email me if you would like to hear more about it! coach@motivatemelissa.com
